Six passengers have died from bee stings that caused their deaths.
The bus, which was reportedly carrying 60 people, was en route from Jinotega, Nicaragua, to San Sebastián de Yal, when it reportedly lost control and slammed into a 160-foot-deep slope where the beehives were.
A swarm of African bees were able to escape the hives where they were generating honey because the collision forced the bus to bust apart numerous wooden boxes.
The killer bees assaulted 45 out of the 60 passengers, according to officials.
