Wizkid Reportedly Loses Mother

Internationally renowned Nigerian signer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has lost his mother.

A close associate of the Grammy award-winning singer, confirmed that the singer lost his mother after a brief illness.

Mrs. Balogun, according to Goldmynetv, who was a pillar of support for her son’s flourishing career, and often seen showing her support for him from the sidelines at concerts died in the wee hours of today, Friday, August 18, 2023.

The Report reads in parts;

“In a sad turn of events, Wizkid, the renowned Nigerian musician, has lost his mother.

The entertainment industry and fans alike have been thrown into a state of mourning.

Reports from a close associate of the Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer Ayodeji Balogun, who is popularly known as Wizkid, have confirmed that the singer lost his mother in the early hours of today, Friday, August 18, 2023.”

Wizkid has not yet made a public statement regarding the loss.
