Wike’s Presidential Ambition Scuttled PDP’s Zoning

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. AbdulRahman Usman has revealed how Governor Nyesom Wike’s presidential ambition hinders the party from zoning the presidential ticket to the south.

Usman, who was a member of the PDP’s presidential campaign council in the just concluded general elections, revealed this while speaking to Oweleke Television in Kaduna.

He says the party leadership must punish the Rivers State Governor for various anti-party activities.

According to him, “PDP wanted someone from the southeast to pick the presidential ticket, but Governor Wike kicked against the plan because he had an ambition. He ensured that the zoning Committee set up by the party which was headed by Governor Samuel Ortom throw the contest open.”

He says Governor Wike is somebody who thinks is larger than the PDP.

“Governor Wike is the same person who Scuttled the Presidential Ticket from been Zone to the South as Atiku wanted it. But he Scuttled it because of his personal ambition.”
