Social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has revealed that he possesses additional incriminating evidence to support his accusations against Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky.
This follows the release of a voice note in which Bobrisky allegedly claimed to have served his prison sentence at a private residence.
VeryDarkMan made the disclosure in an Instagram post, stating that a new voice note from a different individual would be released soon. He called for a thorough investigation, mentioning that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Comptroller General of Prisons, and human rights lawyer Femi Falana, alongside his son, rapper Falz, had been named in the matter.
“I want a thorough investigation into this because the EFCC, the Comptroller General of Prisons, Uncle Femi Falana, and Falz were mentioned. A deep investigation will reveal everything,” VeryDarkMan said.
This development comes after Femi Falana issued a 24-hour ultimatum to VeryDarkMan, demanding a retraction and apology for linking him to Bobrisky’s case. Falana’s lawyers, in a letter, categorically denied any involvement with Bobrisky, stating that Falana had never discussed any form of pardon with Bobrisky.
The controversy erupted when VeryDarkMan shared a voice note in which Bobrisky claimed that his godfather and the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service facilitated his sentence being served in a private residence. The note also alleged that Falz and Falana had offered to help secure a Federal Government pardon for ₦10 million.
In response, VeryDarkMan denied defaming Falana, emphasizing that he merely expressed doubt about the alleged involvement. He maintained his respect for Falana and reiterated his call for a full investigation.
“I did not defame Uncle Falana, and I never will. I respect him 100%. What I said was that I chose not to believe he would be involved in such a thing. I want a thorough investigation into this matter,” he stated.
VeryDarkMan concluded by reaffirming his respect for Falana, while urging a detailed probe to uncover the truth behind Bobrisky’s claims.
