Uche Maduagwu Criticizes Davido for ₦68 Million Car Gift to Ubi Franklin

Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has taken aim at Nigerian Afrobeat singer Davido for gifting music executive Ubi Franklin a ₦68 million car.

Ubi Franklin shared the news on his Instagram, expressing gratitude to Davido for the lavish gift, and noting Davido’s generosity towards his people.

In response, Uche Maduagwu criticized Davido via his Instagram, highlighting Davido’s failure to rent a ₦23 million apartment for his baby mama Sophia Momodu and their daughter, Imade. Maduagwu urged Davido to prioritize charity at home before extending it to others.

“Davido, Charity begins at home. If you can give Ubi, who isn’t family, a ₦68 million car, then you should be able to pay the ₦23 million house rent for my Sophia Sophia, who is the mother of your first child,” Maduagwu stated, urging Davido to reconsider his priorities.

Maduagwu questioned those criticizing Sophia’s housing situation while ignoring Davido’s extravagant gift to Ubi Franklin, calling for consistent scrutiny of Davido’s actions.
