Psquare Rift: Peter Okoye Clarifies EFCC Involvement Over Alleged Fund Diversion

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, known as Mr. P of the defunct P-Square music group, has provided clarification regarding the fallout between him, his twin brother Paul (Rudeboy), and their elder brother Jude Okoye.

In response to recent allegations, Peter explained that he never petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against Paul.

Peter revealed that their management company, Northside Entertainment, was the source of the conflict after he discovered a separate entity, Northside Music, secretly established by Jude and his wife, Ifeoma Okoye.

This company, registered using Ifeoma’s family home address, had allegedly been diverting substantial funds meant for Northside Entertainment.

Peter took legal action against Jude after uncovering that millions of dollars and hundreds of millions of naira had been funneled into this secret account.

The EFCC’s investigation led to the questioning of both Jude and Paul, as Jude implicated his twin brother during the probe.
