Peter Okoye Accuses Twin Brother Paul of Disrespect and Sabotage in Open Letter

Popular Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has penned an open letter to his twin brother, Paul Okoye, accusing him of ongoing disrespect and belittlement.

In the letter, Peter expressed frustration over Paul’s repeated claims of being the primary songwriter for their joint work during their time as a duo. He criticized Paul for diminishing his contributions, and for allegedly aligning with their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, to undermine him.

Peter wrote, “What do you truly gain by constantly disrespecting and belittling me all the time? You have disrespected my wife, my family, my talent, and my ideas, and even sided with Jude when he was clearly trying to oppress me.”

He further accused Paul of trying to incite their fans against him, although he believes those efforts have failed. Peter emphasized that their fans appreciated their unique partnership rather than individual accolades.

In addition, Peter addressed recent claims by Paul suggesting that he had involved the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) regarding their elder brother Jude. He promised to clarify these allegations in future statements.
