The Lagos Shopping Festival (LSF) came to a memorable close, featuring thrilling music performances by Young Jonn and Teni The Entertainer, leaving attendees captivated.
The three-day extravaganza, held from December 23 to December 25, blended shopping, entertainment, and business opportunities. Hosted at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, the festival drew a diverse crowd, including music enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and families.
The event kicked off with remarkable performances by Adekunle Gold, Wande Coal, and Ayo Maff, setting an electrifying tone for the festival. The closing day was no less spectacular, as Young Jonn, Teni, and comedian EmmaOMG delivered unforgettable acts that kept the audience on their feet.
Throughout the festival, top-tier DJs, including DJ Neptune, D’Incredible DJ, DJ Dips, and DJ YK Mule, energized the crowd with their vibrant mixes, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
Organized by the Lagos State Government in partnership with Chain Reactions Africa, a public relations agency, the festival aimed to foster connections between shoppers and Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs). It provided a platform for collaboration among innovators, entertainers, and the creative industry to drive business growth and engagement.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, speaking at the event, praised the festival’s seamless execution and highlighted its potential to strengthen Lagos’ economy. He commended the organizers for showcasing how commerce and entertainment can coexist harmoniously.
“This festival represents the strategic scaling and optimization of small businesses, rekindling the culture of innovation and collaboration,” Sanwo-Olu stated. He further noted that the event underscored Lagos’ capacity to host world-class events that drive connectivity and economic growth.
The Lagos Shopping Festival has successfully established itself as a pivotal platform for business and entertainment in the state, leaving participants eagerly anticipating its next edition.
