The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has reassured Nigerians that the country’s future is filled with hope and prosperity despite the challenges it faces.
Speaking on Sunday at an inter-denominational church service held at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, Akpabio expressed optimism about the nation’s progress.
He acknowledged the obstacles confronting the country but emphasized that Nigeria’s resilient spirit would prevail.
“Yes, the road ahead may be bumpy. Yes, there will be setbacks. But together, united in our faith and love for Nigeria, we will prevail,” Akpabio stated.
He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and patient, noting that the journey toward a prosperous future has only just begun. “Nigeria’s brightest days are ahead of us,” he added.
The Senate President praised the indomitable spirit of Nigerians, highlighting the nation’s resilience in overcoming past challenges. He further expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda would revitalize the economy and uplift vulnerable citizens.
“Our nation is in the process of a renewed hope project that is tailored to rejuvenate our economy, empower our people, and lift up the most vulnerable among us,” Akpabio concluded.
