Nigerian skit maker Denilson Igwe has accused his former partner, Mark Angel, of dishonesty regarding a viral video where Emmanuella was shown presenting a house to her parents.
In a recent video released by the Honest Bunch podcast, Denilson claimed that Mark Angel fabricated the story about Emmanuella buying a house for her parents.
He asserted that the teenage skit star was not aware of the cost of building materials and has no control over her social media accounts, which are managed by Mark Angel.
Denilson also raised concerns about the living conditions of Emmanuella and Success, stating that there are many men in Mark Angel’s household, despite both Emmanuella and Success being young women.
In addition, Denilson disclosed details about his departure from Mark Angel’s team, revealing that he left after discovering alleged financial exploitation. He claimed that Mark Angel, who was previously employed as a security guard at Kilimanjaro in Port Harcourt, was unfairly compensating his team.
Denilson explained that he was responsible for videography content for Mark Angel’s Comedy, which was posted on Facebook. However, he was not informed when their social media page was monetized.
He alleged that Mark Angel did not share any of the monetization proceeds with him until 2016, when he received ₦50,000 after Mark bought a car for himself.
Denilson also criticized the disparity in payments, noting that despite Mark Angel making $160,000 monthly from the Facebook revenue, Emmanuella was paid only ₦20,000 per month.
