Davido’s ‘Timeless’ Album and Record-Breaking Concert

Two years after he released his last album, “A Better Time,” One of the best and highest-rated musicians in Africa, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly called Davido, released another great album in 2023 after his hiatus, “Timeless,” which has broken a huge record in less than one month of release.

He further brought a much-anticipated “Timeless Concert” to the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos held on the 23rd of April, 2023.

Different scenes from the venue have continued to flood various social media platforms as 30BG, top influencers, and music fans turn up to the concert.

Actress KieKie and popular comedian Mr. Macaroni hosted the concert.

The stage design was beautifully set and has been compared to look like the national theatre in Lagos.

The show had different performances from musicians like Iyanya, May D, Spyro, Starboy Terri, Odumodublvck, etc.

In the crowded performance, Davido’s entry was met with loud cheers from his fans and supporters. Dressed in all-white attire, Davido entertained them with songs from his continually expanding hit list, the likes of “Dami Duro,” Gobe,” and “Aye,” as well as more current successes like “Over Dem All,” the opening song on his album, “Unavailable,” “Feel,” and others hit on the “Timeless” album.

Iyanya wrote on Twitter, “@davido show yesterday was the most properly organized outdoor show I have witnessed in Lagos.“

Currently, different funny and positive reactions from the concert are filling up social media as the musician successfully runs his first show for the year in Nigeria.
