Babangida wrote.
Babaginda also expressed relief that the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari officially conceded Abiola as a former head of state.

Recall that on Thursday 20th February, 2025, Babangida conceded that late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale( MKO) Abiola surfaced victorious in the June 12, 1993 presidential election.
The controversial election, extensively regarded as Nigeria’s freest and fairest, has been the subject of multitudinous debates over the times.
