The Department of State Service (DSS) has arrested a tailor in Kano State for the possession and mass production of Russian flags in the Northern region.
Security Analyst and Counter Insurgency Expert, Zagazola, revealed this information in a post on X on Monday.
The post read, “DSS arrested Tailor for sewing Russian Federation Flags.”
Recently, some #EndBadGovernance protesters in the North have been seen flying the Russian flag, appealing for assistance from the Russian government.
Over the weekend, images of protesters waving the Russian flag circulated on social media, along with a video showing tailors making the flags.
In a nationwide broadcast on Sunday, August 4, President Bola Tinubu warned protesters against being manipulated to further an agenda that could jeopardize democratic progress.
He stated, “Let us work together to build a brighter future for ourselves and for generations to come. Let us choose hope over fear, unity over division, and progress over stagnation. The economy is recovering; please, don’t shut out its oxygen. Now that we have been enjoying democratic governance for 25 years, do not let the enemies of democracy use you to promote an unconstitutional agenda that will set us back on our democratic journey. Forward ever, backward never!”
