Lagos State Govt Acknowledges Housing Challenges, Emphasizes Need for Collaboration

During the inauguration of the Lagos Building Investment Company and the Rising Lagos Apartment in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu highlighted the enormity of housing challenges in the state, emphasizing that the government cannot address them alone.

Sanwo-Olu reiterated his administration’s commitment to narrowing the housing gap in Lagos, emphasizing the importance of innovative solutions and genuine partnerships with the private sector.

“The government alone cannot solve these housing challenges in Lagos,” Sanwo-Olu stated. “We will continue to explore innovative solutions and forge real partnerships to ensure that every Lagos resident deserving of decent and affordable housing has access to it.”

He encouraged stakeholders in the real estate sector to capitalize on opportunities within Lagos and extend partnerships with the administration to collectively tackle the housing needs of the city.

“Together, we believe we can meet the critical housing needs that will transform the vision of a Greater Lagos into reality,” Sanwo-Olu concluded.
