The Labour Party (LP) has unveiled plans to launch a mobile app designed to streamline membership registration ahead of the 2027 elections, aiming to facilitate easy registration for Nigerians across the globe.
Ambassador Aju Elumelu, Deputy Director of Media and Communications for the Labour Party Mobilization & Integration Directorate, highlighted that the app will allow members to register, track their status, and engage with party activities seamlessly. It will also serve as a platform for exclusive content access and real-time updates.
The initiative, proposed by Director General Marcel Ngogbehei and endorsed by LP National Chairman Barr. Julius Abure, aims to modernize the party’s operations to meet international standards and enhance its electoral performance in 2027.
“This app will revolutionize our membership processes, providing accurate data and enabling strategic planning,” Abure emphasized.
With ambitions to rapidly expand its membership base, the LP Mobilization & Integration Directorate views the mobile app as pivotal to achieving its recruitment goals.
