Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, a veteran singer and social activist, has expressed his determination to celebrate in an unusual way if Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate in the February 25 presidential election, is declared the winner by the election petitions tribunal.
He stated that he will walk naked on the streets to show his jubilation if Obi emerges victorious in the tribunal. According to INEC, the election was initially won by Bola Tinubu, who was subsequently sworn in as the President.
However, the Labour Party and its candidate have taken the matter to court to contest Tinubu’s victory. Charly Boy shared his declaration on his Twitter handle, expressing his strong support for Peter Obi.
He wrote, “When Tribunal announce say Peter Obi don win even before the case reach Supreme Court, wetin you go do dat day?
“For me, I go naked waka from one end of Bodillon to Falomo [sic].
