Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has visited former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso at his residence.
This development was disclosed in a statement by Atiku via his Facebook account on Wednesday.
He disclosed that the discussions between the two leaders focused on the progress of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and how to ensure good governance.

I paid a courtesy visit to the residence of my brother and partner, His Excellency Rabiu Kwankwaso, this afternoon. We had quality discussions on the progress of our party, the ADC, and how we must continue the work to ensure good governance and recovery are achieved in good time for the people,” Atiku wrote.
The meeting represents the first official meeting between the two leaders after Kwankwaso dumped the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) for the ADC.

Confirming the visit, Kwankwaso expressed delight at hosting Atiku.
He noted that the former Vice President was accompanied on the visit by Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Alhaji Kashim Imam, Senator Dino Melaye, Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri, and several other distinguished leaders.
“I was honoured to receive my dear brother, former Vice President, H.E. Atiku Abubakar, and his esteemed entourage at my residence in Abuja this afternoon.
“Accompanying him were H.E. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Alhaji Kashim Imam, Senator Dino Melaye, Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri, and several other distinguished leaders.
“I used the opportunity to personally thank the Wazirin Adamawa for his warm reception into the ADC and to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to delivering victory for the party at all levels,” Kwankwaso wrote.
